The Spider: Dr.Mohand Osman AlToum Writes About Rejecting Hatred with Peace

In the midst of the numerous crises plaguing Sudan the option to end the war remains a feasible and attainable choice provided that the concerned parties take the necessary steps and engage in positive pathways that support dialogue and understanding, What has been achieved at the Jeddah platform in terms of commitments made by all parties represents promising signals toward the potential for stability and peace.

Recent events in Sudan have witnessed a rise in social crises where the effects of hate speech promoted by certain activists on social media have grown, This discourse has not only exacerbated hatred but has also significantly contributed to the creation of a lack of acceptance of the other thereby blocking opportunities for convergence and understanding, There is no doubt that continuing down this catastrophic path will only lead to the disintegration of the social fabric of Sudan, which represents the foundations of the state and society.

The current situation necessitates that we all as individuals and institutions work to employ all international initiatives that have been proposed to achieve peace, For a long time Sudan has been a living example of a long history of cultural and religious diversity that must be preserved rather than becoming a catalyst for escalating crises and conflicts of non-acceptance.

The ongoing conflict serves the interests of no party rather it leads to genuine erosion for everyone Therefore moving towards peace is not merely a moral choice but is vital for maintaining social existence and ensuring a positive continuation of life In this path we must all unite and strive to capitalize on any opportunity for dialogue and peace emphasizing the importance of promoting positive discourse and acceptance.

In conclusion ending the conflict in Sudan is not just a goal but a hope that must be pursued, We all bear a pressing responsibility to strive toward the light by fostering values of tolerance and mutual understanding so that we may build a future characterized by peace and mutual respect Sudan deserves much from us let us make a difference together.
