*Post-War Sudan: Between Guevarist Ethics and Capitalism — Who Will Take the Lead?*
_Captain Mohamed Hassan Al-Tahir_
_Date: December 17, 2025_
In post-war Sudan, suffering is not measured solely by the number of casualties or the scale of destruction, but rather:
– By the society’s ability to rise from the rubble,
– And by the moral path it chooses in rebuilding.
At this historical crossroads, Sudan stands between two opposing choices:
– *Guevarist ethics*, which glorify collective sacrifice and social justice,
– Or *capitalism*, which places the individual and their interests at the center of the equation.
*🦟 Poverty, Mosquitoes, and Cold: The Rulers of the Moment*
In this bleak scene, three forces emerge as if they are the “masters of the moment”:
*Poverty*:
– Not merely an economic condition, but a system that empties pockets and extinguishes dreams.
*Mosquitoes*:
– A symbol of health neglect, biting the body as failed policies sting the nation’s conscience.
*Cold*:
– Not just a climate, but a chill in emotions, in solidarity, in the warmth of the state toward its citizens.
This triad is not just a set of symptoms, but a direct result of the collapse of values, the absence of vision, and the confusion between two conflicting models:
– Guevarist socialism
– And savage capitalism.
*🧭 How Does a Stance Become Sovereign?*
A stance is:
– A moment of awareness.
– When a nation — leaders and people — realizes that post-war recovery is not just about rebuilding stone, but about rebuilding the human being.
A stance becomes sovereign when:
– It is taken boldly,
– And built on a moral vision, not on short-term interests.
It means choosing to stand with:
– The poor, not against them,
– Justice, not the market,
– Dignity, not profit.
*🔁 Values Along the Spectrum of Socialism and Capitalism*
In *Guevarist socialism*, it is assumed that:
– Poverty is fought through solidarity,
– Mosquitoes through collective prevention,
– Cold through fair distribution of resources and serious efforts to restore electricity and complete infrastructure that ensures a minimum of human dignity.
But when socialism turns into slogans without institutions, then:
– Poverty becomes permanent,
– Mosquitoes become chronic,
– And cold becomes a deadly, biting force.
In *capitalism*, on the other hand:
– Poverty is seen as individual failure,
– Mosquitoes as an environmental issue,
– And cold as a business opportunity to sell blankets.
There is no place for the weak, and no voice for the voiceless.
From here, the following questions arise:
– Do we reproduce misery in the name of justice?
– Or legitimize exploitation in the name of efficiency?
– Or do we seek a third path — Sudanese, ethical, and human?
*🤝 The Ethics of Sudanese People After the War: Expectations and Responsibilities*
*Sudan’s leaders* are expected not only to end the war, but to end the logic of war — the logic of exclusion, greed, and indifference.
They are required to be role models in integrity, austerity, and empathy for the people.
As for the *people*, they are expected to rediscover their moral strength: in solidarity, in patience, and in creativity despite poverty.
*✨ Conclusion: The New Sudan Begins with Ethics*
The new Sudan will not be built by socialism alone, nor by capitalism alone.
It will be built by a new ethic:
– Guevarist in sacrifice,
– Capitalist in productivity,
– Sudanese in spirit.
Post-war Sudan needs not only reconstruction, but a restoration of faith —
Faith that the moral stance is the only one worthy of leadership.
*Do we have the courage to choose this path?*
