Political Reviews and the Body of the State Between Possibility and Necessity Capt Mohamed Hassan Al-Tahir 6

Everything in existence begins by embodying the question “Why?”—a question whose answer moves from mind to tongue until it becomes visible. Yet before that, the answer remains suspended between possibility and necessity, which apply to political action:

– Possibility: the realm of open opportunities available to political and social action.

– Necessity: the constraints and regulations imposed by reality to ensure stability.

The relationship between them is dialectical:

– Possibility enables change, while

– Necessity guarantees continuity.

Parties as the Body of the State

They embody collective consciousness, where ideas transform into institutions.

– Parties represent the vital organs of the state’s body, each performing a specific function.

– Balance among parties resembles the balance among bodily organs; if one fails, the whole is affected.

The Embodiment of Cognition

– Political thought does not remain a mere idea; it materializes in institutions and parties.

– This embodiment is the transition from theoretical knowledge to practical action.

Parties are the tool that makes cognition a material force capable of change within a universal vision.

The Religious Vision of the Unified Body

– In religious perspectives, the nation is one body: if one organ suffers, the rest respond.

– Parties, despite their differences, must preserve the unity of this body.

– Diversity within unity is the safeguard against division or fragmentation.

From here arises the importance of measuring political maturity between the constant and the variable:

– Political thought reflects stance and capacity for action.

– Maturity and consistency over time are the measure of a party’s strength.

A party that shifts with momentary whims or instincts loses credibility, while one that remains stable and coherent consolidates its presence.

Thus, political thought must define levels of cognition that regulate the political path:

– Mind: formulates plans and programs.

– Body: practices political action through institutions and organization.

– Instinct: represents primal drives such as survival and competition, which must be refined by awareness that evolves from data into wisdom.

– Data: mere numbers and facts.

– Information: organized data.

– Knowledge: understanding of context and connections.

– Wisdom: the ability to make the right decision at the right time.

Successful parties are those that transform data into political wisdom, achieving desired outcomes through appropriate mechanisms.

Every political act is a process with a defined mechanism:

– Mechanisms produce directions,

– Directions lead to results—either stability or crisis.

Parties are responsible for reading these mechanisms consciously to avoid sliding into negative outcomes.

Conclusion

Political parties are not merely tools of competition; they are the body of the state, now living through a crisis that raises questions about its existence—still suspended between possibility and necessity.

Mature and consistent political thought can transform:

– Data into wisdom,

– Possibilities into reality,

– Necessity into stability.

Thus, parties become the mirror of the nation’s consciousness and the guarantee of the state’s body remaining alive and active.

Will this divine mandate be fulfilled—“Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock”? And will a new Omar be born from the womb of the Sudanese nation to renew the responsible word that accompanies the hereafter while planning for this world: “By God, if a sheep were to stumble, I would think myself responsible for it.”

New line.
