*The Political Present Between the Repetition of History and the Possibility of Transcendence*
_Captain Mohamed Hassan Al-Taher_
_Date: November 28, 2025_

*The Journey of Consciousness Between Pharaoh, Idols, and Native Americans*
The journey of human consciousness unfolds within the labyrinth of time, where civilizations intersect and paths intertwine like a guiding thread linking past and present—between:
– The deified Pharaoh,
– The idols sculpted from illusion,
– And the Native Americans whose lands were seized in the name of civilization.
It is a journey that does not follow a straight line, but meanders through:
– Crises and leaps,
– Historical processes and cognitive explosions,
– Geography that shapes consciousness and politics that reshapes it.
—
*🧠 The Impact of History on the Psychology of the Individual*
History is not merely a sequence of events; it is a mirror reflecting the image of collective identity, instilling in the individual a sense of belonging—or alienation.
When we look at Pharaoh, we do not merely see an arrogant king, but a symbol of absolute power that cultivates either submission or rebellion within the individual.
As for the idols, they are not mute stones, but symbols of intangible authority that encircle the mind and restrain the will.
In contrast, we find the Native Americans, who once lived in harmony with nature, before their roots were uprooted in the name of progress—in a collective experience of cultural and geographical genocide.
These historical archetypes leave their imprints on the psyche of the modern individual, manifesting as:
– Fear of authority,
– A yearning for freedom,
– Or a struggle with an identity torn between a usurped past and a distorted present.
—
*🌍 Consciousness Between History and Geography*
Consciousness does not form in a vacuum; it is the product of a constant interaction between history and geography.
– History tells the stories,
– Geography sets the stage.
In ancient Egypt, the Nile was the artery of life, from which Pharaoh drew his power and became the divine ruler.
In the plains of North America, open geography was a haven for Native Americans—until armies and settlers redrew the map and reshaped collective consciousness.
Thus,
– Geography defines the boundaries of perception,
– And history fills them with meaning.
Understanding our consciousness is incomplete without understanding:
– The place we were raised,
– The time we traversed,
– And the stories we were told.
—
*🔄 Consciousness Between Process and Cognitive Leaps*
Consciousness is not a steadily ascending line, but a dialectical movement between accumulation and eruption.
Just as civilizations do not collapse suddenly, but erode slowly until they fall all at once, consciousness forms through a long process of experiences, then suddenly leaps to a new level through a shock, a discovery, or a revolution.
– Pharaoh did not fall until he faced Moses,
– The idols were not shattered until Abraham arrived,
– The Native Americans did not grasp the magnitude of the catastrophe until it was too late.
In each case, the cognitive leap came late—but it opened the door to a new awareness, more mature and more resilient.
—
*🏛️ The Political Present: Between Repetition and Transcendence*
In today’s world,
– The shadow of Pharaoh still looms in authoritarian regimes,
– Idols are still worshipped, though renamed as “free markets” or “national security.”
The new Native Americans are the marginalized peoples whose rights are stripped in the name of globalization or modernity.
Yet the difference today is that the tools of awareness are more diverse—from the internet to education to social movements.
The individual is no longer merely a recipient of history, but a potential author of it.
Herein lies hope: that the journey of consciousness may shift from:
– Repeating tragedies to transcending them,
– Worshipping idols to breaking them,
– Submitting to Pharaoh to holding him accountable.
*Conclusion*
The journey of consciousness between Pharaoh, idols, and Native Americans is not merely a reflection on the past—it is a call to understand the present and envision the future.
It is a journey through collective identity, through the geography we inhabit, and the history we carry like a shadow that never leaves us.
– Do we have the courage to complete this journey to its end?
– Or will we remain trapped in a vicious cycle of repetition and forgetfulness?
