Lutf Allah Ahmed Afifi ..Thank You, America

Thank you, America, because by refusing to allow our leader, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, to enter your country under your political conditions, you have made it clear to us where some stand in this war.
You have demonstrated, whether intentionally or otherwise, that talk of neutrality in the Sudanese crisis is not always what it appears to be, and that pressuring Sudan’s legitimate leadership at this particular moment cannot be separated from the course of the war and the realities on the ground.
General Al-Burhan did not ask for the impossible. He is the Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, which is fighting to defend the state and its people against a rebel militia.
The question that must be asked is: Why are these conditions and pressures being imposed at this particular time, while the militia is suffering successive defeats in Kordofan and other areas?
Any ceasefire must be balanced and fair. It must not become an opportunity for a defeated side to catch its breath, regroup, and reorganize its forces.
Throughout this war, General Al-Burhan has demonstrated that he does not regard the issue of Sudan as a personal matter or merely a struggle for power. Rather, he has treated it as a battle to preserve the state in the face of a project that threatens Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and national institutions.
Therefore, we say it clearly:
Thank you, America.
You have, perhaps unintentionally, made the Sudanese people see the picture more clearly and confirmed that Sudan’s future must be decided by Sudanese themselves.
The future of Sudan will not be determined by external pressure. It will be shaped by the will of its people, the resilience of its armed forces, and the strength of its national institutions.
Sudan will remain a free country, and its army will remain the army of the people. The struggle to restore security, stability, and the authority of the state will continue until peace and stability return to every part of Sudan.
