This event may be normal compared to its peers, as it is a routine event, but what caught my attention were the farewell words that came as if he was bidding farewell to the world and not the job, as his message carried words of loyalty, prevention, safety, preserving the right of neighborhood and his request for security and safety and preserving human dignity in a speech indicating fear of God and opposing the whims of the soul, and his words came aptly indicating good training and sincerity of intentions, as Ali, may God be pleased with him, said,

– if you want to know the inside of a man, test his outside.

On the other hand,

Today I surveyed through the media a news that is funny in its appearance, dangerous in its essence:

– A FlyDubai plane heading to Israel returning to Dubai, following a leak of news about a fight between the captain and his assistant in the cockpit?

A plane with 300 souls, suspended in the sky, and its fate is in the hands of two men who fought!

This news is not aviation news, this is political news par excellence.

First: The Political Cockpit

In aviation sciences, there is a concept called _Job Description – which contains the term two pilots operation

The captain is not more important than the first officer, and the first officer is not a secretary to the captain.

Both are pilots. But the job description precisely determines:

– Who flies,

– And who monitors,

– And who makes the final decision,

– And when the first officer objects.

According to the disciplined behavior patterns followed proactively in such cases

In universities also we find when discussing graduate studies theses, there is an item that a student cannot succeed without, which is (controlling neurotic bias) . That is, the researcher may love his theory, but

– Can he control his neurotic bias for it?

– Can he see its flaws as he sees its advantages?

And in the first lesson in the weapons field, before you learn how to shoot, you learn (safety precautions) :

– The weapon is always loaded,

– Do not point the weapon at a friend,

– Put your finger outside the trigger until you decide to shoot.

Politics without these three is a humanitarian catastrophe that requires controlling neurotic bias

What happens when the captain and his assistant fight in Sudanese politics?

– The whole plane goes backwards.

– And no one arrives, which requires the following question:

Second: What are the safety precautions in political thought?

Safety precautions in weapons prevent accidental killing, but safety precautions in political thought must prevent the collective suicide of the state, which is based on four precise balances:

_1. The first balance: between good and evil_

Adolescent political thought thinks it is absolute good and its opponent is absolute evil.

– This is the thought that has removed safety.

As for safe thought, it realizes that good and evil are not two parties, but are two tendencies inside every party, and inside every human being.

The politician who does not put a safety precaution between himself and the idea that he is “the Awaited Mahdi” will shoot everyone who disagrees with him as a “devil”.

The safety precaution here is to say:

– I may be right, but my rightness may be wrong.

_2. The second balance: between nationalism and internationalism :

– Nationalism without safety turns into fascism while

– Internationalism without safety turns into collaboration: “We sell all of Sudan to please the outside.”

The safety precaution is to be

– Nationalist in your roots,

– Internationalist in your morals.

You love your homeland but you do not hate the world. As the plane needs two wings to fly, not one wing.

_3. The third balance: between the psychological state and the collective mind :

The most dangerous thing I read in the plane’s news is the word “fight”.

What makes a professional pilot fight at an altitude of 30,000 feet?

An undisciplined psychological state unless a logically acceptable technical justification is announced as safe according to the rule that harm is removed

From this event and its comparison with Noah’s ark of Sudanese politics, we find that many Sudanese political decisions were taken

– With an angry mood or at night

– With a tense psychological state,

Then its price was paid from the collective mind for decades.

The safety precaution here is what we call the “cooling room”:

– Do not make a war decision when you are angry,

– Nor a peace decision when you are afraid,

– Nor an economic decision when you want revenge.

There must be a time interval between the psychological state of the leader and the collective mind of the people according to the working mechanisms of the adrenaline gland which works mechanically..

_4. The fourth balance: between selfishness and humanity_

Every politician is selfish by nature, wants to stay in the chair. This is an instinct.

But the safety precaution is that your selfishness does not turn into a guillotine for others:

– The politician without safety says I and after me the flood.

– The safe politician says I am part of the flood, and my survival is in the survival of the whole boat, and here we reach the core of the subject

Third: Religions and humanity.. between breaking hearts and repairing damage:

Religions in their origin came to repair damage, not to break hearts. They came to say to the wounded: You are human.

But when political thought loses safety precautions, it uses religion to break hearts:

– This is an infidel,

– This is an agent,

– This does not deserve to live, although everyone knows that in every living liver there is a reward

Safe political thought uses religion as a _repairer of damage_:

Even if I differ with you in doctrine, you are my partner in humanity. Your right to bread (and ketchup) and medicine and dignity is preserved, even if you are against me in the elections according to the rule

Repairing damage and not breaking hearts?

No. Rather in politics we must prevent both together. Do not break a citizen’s heart to repair the damage of your party

Conclusion:*

The return of the FlyDubai plane was not a technical failure in all likelihood, but rather a success for the safety system in the era of robots that control humans, which unleashes imagination in the pavilions of fictional imagination (Six Walks in the Narrative Woods) according to the following scenario:

The autopilot said: As long as the captain and his assistant are fighting, I will not allow this plane to proceed. I will return it safely.

We in Sudan need

– The same autopilot system in political thought.

– A clear job description

– We need to control neurotic bias:

Not to love our party to the point of blindness.

And we need safety precautions:

– Our finger outside the trigger always, until we make sure that we are not pointing our weapon towards each other’s chests.

In conclusion, I say that politics without safety is a plane without a pilot and may be a droooone
