Queen of Sheba and Abu Bakr (Consultation Against the Hierarchy of Tyranny*) Captain Mohammed Hassan Al-Tahir

Date: September 17, 2025*

In a world where forces clash between despotism and wisdom, two historical figures emerge as timeless symbols of intellectual resistance and righteous leadership:

– *The Queen of Sheba*

– *Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq*

Both confronted tyranny—not with swords, but with insight, consultation, and moral elevation that rises above human descent.

*🔥 When Man Becomes Inflated*:

Tyranny is not merely political oppression; it is a psychological state where the self swells until it believes it stands above law and people. As one tyrant was described:

*“You are the master and son of the master…”*

Here, tyranny reveals its clearest form: a sense of absolute entitlement, as if the earth and all upon it are private property beyond dispute.

*👑 Queen of Sheba: A Noble Response to Power*

When she received Solomon’s letter, she did not respond with arrogance or aggression, but said:

*“O chiefs, indeed a noble letter has been delivered to me.”*

She honored the message, its sender, and its content—even though it carried implicit threat. Her behavior reflects wise leadership that knows how to *“go high when others go low,”* as Michelle Obama once said.

The Queen of Sheba did not meet power with power, but rose to the level of dialogue, becoming a model of leadership that transcends reaction and embraces wisdom.

*⚔️ Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq: Consultation Above Obedience*:

In a pivotal moment, a Bedouin stood before the Caliph and said:

*“By God, if we see crookedness in you, we will straighten it with our swords.”*

Abu Bakr did not grow angry. He replied:

*“Praise be to God who has placed among you those who would correct me.”*

Here, *consultation emerges as a tool against tyranny*, where no one is above critique or beyond accountability. It is leadership that welcomes correction and elevates the value of the collective above the individual.

*🧠 Deconstructing Tyranny and Building Awareness with Chunking*

Using the technique of:

– *Chunking Up*: Tyranny can be seen as the result of losing higher values—justice, consultation, and human dignity.

– *Chunking Down*: We break down its daily manifestations—domination at home, arrogance at work, rejection of criticism, and disregard for others.

This technique helps us understand tyranny not just as a political phenomenon, but as a flaw in thinking and behavior—one that can be resisted through awareness, dialogue, and moral elevation.

*✨ Conclusion: Elevation Is Invincible*

Between the Queen of Sheba, who rose through dialogue, and Abu Bakr, who humbled himself before critique, we find that *true leadership is not measured by power, but by the ability to rise above tyranny*.

When others descend, we rise. And when man becomes inflated, we return to what makes us truly human.
